Monkeys Shake Down Tourists For Food

MOUNT EMEI, China -- Monkeys have learned to shake down tourists for food before they let them appreciate one of China's most scenic attractions. Mount Emei is one of four Buddhist mountains in Sichuan province.Monkeys there beg for food and stand in the way of tourists who are climbing steps up the mountain.In recently shot video, one monkey took a wad of Chinese money from a tourist and began to eat it.Park rangers got the tourist's money back by offering the monkey real food.
